Sarah Jo Martin is an Adjunct Instructor of Voice at Oklahoma State University. Ms. Martin received her Master of Music in Opera Performance from Oklahoma City University with
high honors. While attending OCU, she performed in the school’s productions of Dark Sisters, La rondine, Don Pasquale and OPERAtions. She also had the honor to sing the National Anthem at the Graduate Commencement ceremony. Ms. Martin received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Stephen F. Austin State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. At SFASU, she had roles in The Most Happy Fella, Amahl and the Night Visitors, Suor Angelica, and Street Scene. Ms. Martin has also been seen in productions of Carmen, The Hiding Tree, Don Giovanni, and Carousel. She is an alumni member of Mu Phi Epsilon, a co-ed international music fraternity, in which she served as President of the Alpha Omega chapter. Additionally, she is a member of the American honor music society, Pi Kappa Lambda. Ms. Martin also teaches at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma as an Adjunct Professor of Voice where she teaches voice lessons, vocal pedagogy, and diction.
