A. No, ALL choirs consist of both non majors and majors.

A. University Singers, Cantamus, and Statesmen do not require an audition. For Chamber Choir and Concert Chorale, please email Dr. Z. Randall Stroope in order to secure a time.

Q. How do I apply for a scholarship if I want to major in music?
A. Your audition determines your scholarship, no further application is necessary.

Q. Are there scholarships available to non-majors who participate in ensembles?
A. Yes. There are scholarships available for Chamber Choir, Concert Chorale, and OSU Opera. Email Dr. Z. Randall Stroope in order to secure an audition time.
Q. Do I have to be a music major to take voice lessons?
A. No. However, you are required to be in an ensemble to be eligible to enroll for voice lessons.
Q. Is a music theatre degree offered?
A. No, the School of Visual & Performing Arts does not offer this degree.
