Get to know just a few of the current OSU students involved in the Vocal Division...


ABarber.jpgAmanda Barber is a sophomore at OSU and a graduate from Timber Creek High School in Keller, TX. She was a two-time all-state choir member and a member of the National Honor Society. She enjoys photography and spending time with family. Amanda is a Vocal Music Education major. 

"I am overjoyed to be in such a welcoming and talented music program. I can't wait to see what the next four years bring me!"




DBerry.jpgDanah Berry is a sophomore from Keller Central High School, Texas, where she was a Texas All-State member. Danah is pursuing a Bachelor of Music Education degree, and is a soprano in the OSU Concert Chorale.

"I am excited to be a part of the Greenwood School of Music, and am looking forward to learning at lot at OSU.”



Dustin BoatrightDBoatright is a senior and a graduate of Edmond Memorial High School. He has placed first in the Sophomore Men's division at NATS competition. Dustin was a three-year OMEA All-State choir member as well as a two year OCDA Jazz choir member. Dustin is majoring in Vocal Music Education.






David Brewer is a recent graduate from the Master of Music: Choral Conducting track. He graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville in 2015. In his free time, David enjoys composition, listening to choral music, and hanging out with family and friends. 





Kennedy Conrad is a sophomore at OSU and a Bethany High School graduate. She has been in 11 All-State choirs and has received superior ratings at state solo competitions. Kennedy is a Vocal Performance major.

"With the visits to Stillwater I've fallen in love with the campus and the people. I cannot wait to be a part os such a great community."






Jake Hansen is a senior from Flower Mound, Texas. He is studying Electrical Engineering and continues to pursue his passion for music by staying involved in the Music School. While attending Oklahoma State University, Jake has enjoyed being involved in Concert Chorale, Spirit of OSU Jazz Choir, and Pokeapella.

"My day-to-day life can be awfully distracting and stressful between classes, projects, and work; but singing at OSU has always brought me so much joy. I cherish my opportunity to sing at Oklahoma State; it truly is something I will never forget."



Clayton Headrick is a junior studying Secondary Education: Social Studies. A five-year member of Oklahoma All-State, he is the assistant bass section leader in Concert Chorale and sings in Chamber Choir, along with participating in the OSU Spirit Band as a baritone player.

 "The Music Department has provided me opportunities to grow as a musician that I could never receive anywhere else. I'm honored to work with such a talented group of people!"




NMackey.jpgNichole Mackey is a junior at OSU. She graduated from Jenks High School where was an honors and all-state choir member as well as an outstanding soloist. She enjoys volunteering in her church nursery. Nichole is a Vocal Music Education major.

"I love being a part of the music department at OSU! I feel so welcomed and I am excited to see what the next year has in store!"






Clare Nelson is a senior from Keller Central high school in Keller, Texas. She was a two year TMEA All- State choir member and is now proudly a section leader of Concert Chorale and sings in Chamber Choir. Clare is majoring in Music Education and looks forward to all of the exciting opportunities to come.





Emma Schlebach is a junior Vocal Music Education major from Ft. Worth, TX. She has competed at solo sining competitions for years and is the assistant alto section leader in Concert Chorale. "I am blessed to be welcomed into such an excellent department and dedicated group of people. The opportunities available and caring faculty are outstanding!"



SStroud.png Shelby Stroud  is a senior Vocal Music Education student at OSU. She was a member of the Texas All-State Mixed Choir and serves Concert Chorale as alto section leader. Shelby enjoys being with her friends and family, playing guitar, and being outdoors.

Christy Vineis is a sophomore at OSU and a graduate of Westwood High School in Austin, Texas. Christy was a 2 year Texas All-State choir member, as well as an avid performer and soloist in her school varsity ensembles, the Conspirare youth choir, and the Amphion youth choir. She enjoys writing and performing original music. Christy also had the honor of interning and teaching choir at her former middle school. She is beyond excited to be a part of OSU's Greenwood School of Music and choral program!
